Rancho Capote started in Hato Mayor del Rey, Dominican Republic, on March 1996. During all these years of dedication to Ecotourism and Adventure Tour we have always tried to provide the best service with our best smiles to both the tourist visiting our country and the local visitors.  Our company’s team is always willing to improve the quality of our service.

Rancho Capote and its spectacular Fun Fun Cave are located in the western part of Hato Mayor, whose provincial capital, Hato Mayor del Rey, is 101 kilometers away from Santo Domingo, the national capital.

To arrive at Rancho Capote take the road Hato Mayor-Yerba Buena-Las Claras-Capote, west of the city, where you will find scenic landscapes of great natural beauty, lined with grass for cattle, citrus orchards, and Dominican conucos (small farms with bananas crops, cassava, corn and other crops for subsistence of the inhabitants). Rural homes with typical designs are framed by the Eastern Cordillera, characterized by small micro plains, whose rainforest vegetation presents an eternal spring.

After a 20 mile ride on asphalt road, you arrive at the entrance of the ranch situated on a farm filled with tropical fruits and livestock. The ranch is surrounded by the Almirante River, giving the farm a picturesque look.
